This company was established in the year 1997, under the forevision of Mr. Mahesh Thakker. Mr. Mahesh Thakker comes with all the expertise that is required to combat with the stringnent quality standards demanded by the importing countries.

Mr. Hirji R Thakker joint-promoter of the Organization together with Mr. Mahesh Thakker, has spent over five decades in the trading business, as a broker of Agri products, with acumen to identify and trace high quality products to facilitate exports. This quality in him is what prompted him to join hands with Mr. Mahesh Thakker to promote Mahesh Agri Exim Private Limited to cater to the ever-growing demand of various Indian Produces of Agri-Products.
Mr. Mahesh Hirji Thakker : The Company takes pride that it could develop International markets, with the untiring & professional approach adopted by Mr. Mahesh Thakker, who specializes in international marketing, for Oilseeds & Edible Oils, Spices, Food Grains, Cattle Feed, Bird Feed, Dehydrated Vegetables, Sugar, Pulses & Lentils, Pickles & Chutney s. Looking at the demand for Organic Products rising from all round the Globe, he ventured into the field and got registered with SKAL in the year 1999. And the company was first to export the Organic Sesame seeds from India in the year 1999. Also the company was first to exports Sesame Oil in bulk from India and as a result the company received the award for the Highest Exporter for the year 2001-2002. The company went further ahead receiving the award for the Highest Exporter of Sesame Oil for 7 consecutive years 2001-02, 2002-03, 2003-04, 2004-05, 2005-2006, 2006-2007 and 2007-08 under his Captaincy. With the bumper crop of groundnut in the year 2003, he grabbed the opportunity and was first to again start the export of Groundnut Oil from India after 26 years. He has also serving as the director of I.O.P.E.A.(Export Promotion Council) and ISFEA which serve the trade.
Mr. Manoj Hirji Thakker : The Organization is professionally supported by Mr. Manoj H.Thakker, who controls the entire administration with a team of dedicated, enthusiastic and well experienced personnel.

In the wake of stupendous success in executing export contracts and the overwhelming results achieved by the Organization, more than the rigid prescribed limit of export turnover, the Government of India was pleased to accord the status of "EXPORT-HOUSE" to the Company in the year 1998.

To name a few, Mahesh Agri Exim Pvt Ltd has already established exports on a regular basis in countries like Argentina, Brazil, Columbia, CIS, Germany, Greece, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Morocco, The Netherlands, Pakistan Philippines, Poland, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, United States of America, other European Countries, the Far East, the other Middle East Countries et al.

The Company has its own arrangements for quality cultivation of Sesame Seeds, with a view to specifically meet international standards. It has commissioned an ultra modern facility in the State of Gujarat, with "State-of-the-Art" Cleaning & Gravity Machinery for Oilseeds & Spices, and Grading Machine & Conveyor Belts for "Hand-Picked-Selected Quality" of Peanuts, for cleaning & processing with an eye for specially catering to the European Countries. As far as the Cleaning & Gravity Machinery is concerned, the emphasis and onus is that there is absolutely no manual human touch during the process of cleaning and grading, right from loading of the raw-material to the final point of disbursing the product for packing and stuffing and the entire process is controlled automatically. Utmost care is attributed during the process to all the agri products the company deals in. Nonetheless, the Company is adopting stringent methods, documentation, processing & packing of the processed goods under the Food Safety Management Guidelines to secure ISO & HACCP Certifications to boost the morale of the Organization which has now a firm footing in exports.


Quality Assurance

Mahesh Agri Exim Pvt Ltd is wholly committed to Quality Assurance to its vast clientele, and as a policy, does not compromise on it:

* Raw Materials are procured by constant & close identification of the Origins, which enables the Company ensure high quality Raw Materials;

* Special emphasis on Master Raw Material Specifications, outlining physical, chemical & microbiological criteria;

* Attributes thorough quality checks of Raw Materials, as also finished products for Physio-Chemical Properties, Microbiological Characteristics, Mycotoxins, Afflatoxin and Pesticide Residues at accredited laboratories;

* Follows HACCP principles/ISO 22000 - 2005 and Food Safety Management Programme.

Raw Materials are generated from Growers spread all over the country for various produces in crude form. Such Raw Materials are analyzed for quality and selected for various purposes, viz: grinding, cracking, cleaning, sifting and re-packing.

Our activities at the facility revolves around processing & grading of Oilseeds, dehydrating of Onions & Vegetables, colour-sorting and hulling of Sesame Seeds etc.The methods adopted are metal detection, manual & mechanical sorting/grading, sifting & sieving, fractioning/particle size reduction.

Yet another silver-lining is that an Organization, which is fully devoted & committed, has been receiving Awards & Certificates of Merit for best export performance for the past seven years now. In the year 2001, Spices Board awarded to the Company a "Certificate of Merit" for best export performance of Spices, and since past seven years, the Company has been receiving "Certificate of Excellence in Export of Sesame Oil" from IOPEA, now Export Promotion Council for Oilseeds & Oils, the latest for the year 2008 at their recently held Trade Meet.
